Description
Whole Nutmeg / Jaifal (جائفل)
Nutmeg is the seed kernel of Myristica fragrans. Common names include Nutmeg, Whole Nutmeg, Jaifal and Jayphal. It adds a warm, fragrant flavour to both savoury dishes and desserts.
Cooking uses
Freshly grate a small amount into biryani, garam masala, kheer, custard or baked dishes. Start with a pinch, since its flavour is concentrated. Use only in small culinary quantities; large amounts can be harmful. The pack weight is a purchase quantity, not a serving size.
Benefits in cooking
A small amount adds warm aroma to savoury dishes and desserts. Whole nutmeg lets you grate only what your recipe needs. This listing is for culinary use, with no claim to treat a health condition.
